ARUJ SINGLA

Managing Partner

An Indian-Australian globe trotter, Aruj has been in management consulting for close to two decades, leading corporate engagements in Australia, US, India, Middle East and parts of Asia, where he led and directed strategic problem solving in sectors ranging from financial services, technology, telecom, public transportation, automobile, utilities, retail, to health and government.

Former Berkshire Hathaway executive, Aruj recently led Strategic Programs as part of the CEO Office Team at Persistent Systems, a mid-cap Indian IT Services Firm. Prior to this, he was the Head of Global Private Equity for Zinnov, a boutique strategy consulting house with a razor sharp focus on TMT. A serial Entrepreneur, he's highly active in investing and advising new startups around challenges of scaling and sustainable growth.

A renowned Industry expert for Travel and Convenience Retail, Oil, Transportation, Technology and Professional Services, he provides regular inputs to global industry research studies, advisory to PE/VC and alike investment bodies and leadership coaching via numerous speaking engagements.

Aruj is an avid half-marathon runner, cyclist and a super passionate biker, he spends his weekends either busy with fitness activities or riding the country on his beloved Triumph motorcycle. He has been a semi-pro drummer and managed a global music band for 9 years while living in Australia.

An alumnus of Melbourne Business School and Duke University – Fuqua School of Business, he has also earned an Executive certificate in Strategic Innovation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston and is an Associate member of CPA Australia. He has held board positions at many local and national commerce bodies like Knoxville Chamber of Commerce TN USA as well as guest lecturer and case competition judge roles at University of Tennessee. He’s currently a consulting board member on Delhi University’s Faculty of Management Science MarkIt and Enactus Societies.
